In this video, Dr. Eric Chotiner discusses when you can break a sweat and resume exercise after Refractive Lens Exchange.

The day after surgery, light exercise such as walking or riding a bicycle may resume immediately. Golfers can return to the links three or four days after surgery and strenuous lifting or activity should be held off for five days. I typically tell patients to avoid swimming for several weeks postoperatively.
